The 2026 edition of ADIPEC (Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference) will take place from 2 to 5 November at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Organised by dmg events and hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), the event is held under the patronage of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The exhibition will bring together energy companies, government representatives, investors and industry specialists. Discussions will focus on oil and gas markets, industrial technologies, decarbonisation and changes in global energy systems.
More than 2,250 Exhibitors Expected
According to figures announced for the 2026 edition, more than 239,000 participants and over 2,250 exhibiting companies are expected to attend. These include 54 national and international oil companies, among them bp, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Shell and TotalEnergies.
The organisers estimate that the event could generate $53 billion in business transactions across nearly 50,000 contracts. Thirty national pavilions are also planned to showcase industrial activities, technologies and solutions from participating countries.
These figures represent the organisers’ estimates of the event’s expected commercial activity. They are projections and do not necessarily reflect the value of transactions ultimately concluded during the exhibition.
Energy Policy and Industry Challenges on the Conference Agenda
The conference programme is expected to feature 13 thematic tracks and more than 380 sessions, with over 1,800 speakers announced.
Government representatives, including energy ministers from the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Japan, Egypt, Türkiye and Austria, are expected to take part in the discussions. Executives from industrial groups such as Siemens, Eni, Equinor, Baker Hughes, Halliburton and SLB are also listed among the expected participants.
Topics will include energy security, global demand, carbon emissions reduction, infrastructure resilience and the financing of energy transition projects.
The integration of artificial intelligence into industrial operations will also be addressed, particularly its applications in facility management, maintenance and operational efficiency.
Exhibition Areas Dedicated to Energy Technologies
The exhibition will feature several specialised areas focusing on technologies used across the energy industry.
An artificial intelligence zone will present applications designed for industrial operations. The Low Carbon and Chemicals area will focus on carbon capture, hydrogen and sustainable chemical processes.
The Maritime and Logistics zone will cover energy transportation and supply chain management. A separate Digitalisation area will showcase digital tools and technologies applied to industrial operations.
These exhibition areas will provide participating companies with an opportunity to present their equipment, services and technological developments.
An Industry Event Amid Ongoing Energy Sector Changes
ADIPEC 2026 will take place against a backdrop of several challenges facing the energy industry, including energy security, market volatility, changing demand patterns and efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Oil and gas companies, technology providers and developers of low-carbon solutions are expected to present their activities and projects. Discussions will examine how energy demand can be met while production methods and infrastructure continue to evolve.
The event will also include business meetings and discussions on potential contracts and partnerships between participating companies.
