QatarEnergy Signs Long-Term LNG Supply Agreements with Cheniere Energy.

QatarEnergy has signed two long-term agreements with U.S.-based Cheniere Energy to purchase up to 4 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Sabine Pass facility in Louisiana and the Corpus Christi facility in Texas.

Deliveries are expected to begin in 2031 and continue through 2054, under Free on Board (FOB) terms.

This strategic partnership aims to diversify QatarEnergy’s LNG supply portfolio, strengthen its global market position, and enhance its ability to meet evolving international demand. The agreements also reflect the company’s confidence in the long-term role of LNG in the global energy mix.
