MRDC to acquire six Mobil fuel stations in Port Moresby.

Papua New Guinea’s Mineral Resources Development Company Limited (MRDC) is expanding into the downstream energy sector through a proposed acquisition of six Mobil-branded service stations in Port Moresby and plans to establish additional outlets in Lae and Madang.

The agreement, signed with Mobil Oil New Guinea, an ExxonMobil affiliate, includes a long-term fuel supply and branding partnership. The stations will continue operating under the Mobil brand, ensuring continuity in fuel supply, service quality and customer experience.
