FPT will participate in Interforst 2026, taking place from October 15 to 18 in Munich, Germany, at the STEYR stand, where its N45 engine from the NEF range will be showcased. FPT supplies the engines for all the STEYR forestry tractors on display and also supports the “Wald Klima-Klasse” initiative, an educational program that raises young people’s awareness of ecology, sustainable forest management, and the fight against climate change.
Launched in collaboration with German forestry partners, the project encourages students to take part in practical forest planting and maintenance activities. Following the success of the initiatives carried out in 2025, the program aims to expand its reach and ensure long-term sustainability across Germany in 2026.
The N45 engine from the NEF range showcases FPT’s technological expertise through its power, reliability, low fuel consumption, and compatibility with HVO fuel. Featuring four cylinders and a 4.5-liter displacement, it delivers up to 147 kW of power and 744 Nm of torque while complying with Stage V / Tier 4 Final emissions standards.
FPT’s presence at Interforst highlights its collaboration with STEYR in supporting forestry professionals and promoting responsible forest management, combining technological performance with environmental protection.
