Teledyne FLIR OEM has launched Prism™ A-ISR, an embedded software solution designed for airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms, including unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). Powered by artificial intelligence and multispectral image processing, the software enables real-time detection, classification, and tracking of multiple ground targets using infrared and visible-light sensor data.
Advanced image-processing technologies, including noise reduction, super-resolution, electronic stabilization, and haze mitigation, enhance image quality, extend detection range, reduce false alarms, and optimize bandwidth requirements.
Prism A-ISR is compatible with NVIDIA® and Qualcomm® embedded AI platforms, as well as a wide range of Teledyne FLIR and selected third-party sensors. It supports rapid integration and scalable deployment. In addition, Teledyne FLIR’s AIMMGen™ synthetic model training service enables developers to adapt AI models to specific mission requirements within days rather than weeks.
The primary objective of Prism A-ISR is to enhance situational awareness, persistent surveillance, and operational effectiveness across airborne ISR missions, while reducing integration risks and accelerating the development and deployment of advanced defense capabilities.
