Petrobras secures a sustainable LNG supply from Cheniere.

Petrobras has signed a long-term LNG supply agreement with Cheniere Marketing covering 0.8 million tonnes per year for 22 years. The agreement aims to reduce Petrobras’ exposure to LNG spot-market volatility, improve risk management of its natural gas portfolio, and strengthen the security and flexibility of its gas supplies.

Cheniere Energy, the parent company of Cheniere Marketing, is one of the leading U.S. LNG producers and exporters, with facilities in Louisiana and Texas representing approximately 56 million tonnes per year of currently operational production capacity.
